The Joint Committee on Standards for Educational Evaluation (JCSEE), whose sponsoring organizations include the American Evaluation Association, the American Psychological Association, the Canadian Evaluation Society, the National Association of School Psychologists, and others, is currently revising the Program Evaluation Standards.
This session, to be held at AEA’s conference on November 19th at 10:15 am, is one in a series of National Public Hearings convened as part of that effort. Presenters will describe the revision process, the significant challenges encountered and how they were resolved, and the major shifts in orientation reflected in the emerging draft. Attendees are invited to respond directly during the session. Comments from the field is essential to the revision and will help ensure that the resulting standards are broadly applicable and faithful to the guiding principles of practice. This event is open to all conference attendees and does not require special registration.
