Session Abstract (150 words):
There are an estimated 452,984 out-of-school children in Ghana. the Ghana Complementary Basic Education (CBE) program operated from 2012-2018, funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). CBE was designed to provide ‘second-chance’ access to basic education for out-of-school children between the ages of 8 and 14. The objective of this end-of-project, retrospective evaluation was to capture the results from the CBE program over the last five years, including lessons learned about what has and has not worked, to inform future planning. This poster will display the evaluation questions, methodology, findings, and conclusions for the recently completed performance evaluation of the Ghana Complementary Basic Education (CBE) program.
