Session Abstract (150 words): 

Based on her experience in evaluating corporate workplace sustainability programmes in the private sector companies based in South East Africa emphazing on agriculture, the author shows the complexity, barriers, challenges and opportunities of evaluation in this sector. Private sector evaluation of workplace sustainability programming, should be designed with special emphasis on ontology and epistemology so as to understand context based on reality due to its complexity in terms of business goals. In addition methodology, correct target audience and the right evaluation questions is critical. on a single issue or question.

The think tank shall Initially, pose the topic of challenges faced and recommendations  in private sector sustainability programming with aim to get attendees into small groups to explore the issue and finally reconvene to share their enhanced understanding as well as findings and conclusion. The individuals are going to be monitored during group discussions so that they all participate.
