Session Abstract (150 words):
The role of the internal evaluator has always undergone a number of challenges over the years. One specific area is how to engage workers in the internal evaluation process in a way that leads to positive change in program performance. More recently, there has been an ongoing dilemma for supervisory staff to engage millennials in the workplace. Given the conference theme of truth to power this expert lecture will focus on how to utilize the strengths that exist within the millennials in order to foster a strong internal evaluation process. More importantly, the lecture will highlight how to empower these staff in a way that will lead to strengthen program performance thru the evaluation process leading to ways to meet the needs of the client population served both in the child welfare as well as developmental disabilities services.
