Session Abstract (150 words):

It takes collective capacity to build a movement that can effectively advocate for policy and systems change. New systems-informed frameworks and measures are being developed and tested to evaluate this powerful phenomenon. Margaret Hargreaves has been working with foundations, initiatives, and communities, to develop and test systems-informed collective community capacity  frameworks and measures for systems change initiatives addressing adverse childhood experiences, reforming juvenile justice, developing opportunity ecosystems, and  building healthy communities. In this demonstration session, she will present these frameworks and measures and discuss their application with the funders/clients of projects for The California Endowment, the MacArthur Foundation, the Change in Mind initiative, and the American Public Human Services Association.
