Session Abstract (150 words):

Along with the rising prevalence of program quality standards, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) strategies are becoming more popular as a methodology to ensure that all young people are engaging in safe and supportive environments that promote positive developmental outcomes.  With data at the heart of this assess, plan, improve feedback loop, the need to promote and enhance data literacy among afterschool professionals is imperative.  To address this need, Boys & Girls Clubs of America field-tested a CQI toolkit designed to help frontline practitioners make sense of multiple data sources to guide improvements.  Continuing from our Data Walk in 2017, this interactive workshop invites participants to engage with these different tools and practices using real data from local Clubs.  Participants will walk away with new strategies and fun activities to encourage all out-of-school time stakeholders to embrace the power of using program quality data to drive positive outcomes through CQI.
