Session Abstract (150 words):

For more than four decades, the evaluation profession has been studying, talking about, and experimenting with ways to enhance the use of evaluation findings. At the heart of evaluation use, is the idea that stakeholders need to learn from and about evaluations. That is, they need opportunities to reflect on, engage in dialogue, and consider the meaning of evaluation processes and findings.

In this skill-building workshop, you will gain greater insights into what it means to learn in a group and organizational context, how as evaluators, we can create spaces and opportunities for stakeholders and others to learn about evaluation processes and findings, and factors to consider when choosing a particular learning activity. You will also experience a couple of learning activities so that you can personally and collectively reflect on what might be useful in your own evaluation practice.
