Session Abstract (150 words):

Evaluations are most valuable when stakeholders use findings to modify and improve their programs. Involving stakeholders in the evaluation process is one approach to increasing the likelihood that findings will be used to inform continuous learning and improvement. New technologies offer the potential to better incorporate stakeholder participation in the evaluation and make complex data more accessible, interpretable and timely. This roundtable will collaboratively explore technologies, such as a logic model building application, Business Intelligence (BI) programs and dashboards, and will discuss how evaluators can use these technologies to better engage stakeholders in new and innovative ways. The group will also consider the benefits these technologies offer and the potential challenges that will need to be addressed. Join us for our conversation on emerging technologies and learn about how they can better involve stakeholders in evaluation activities and ultimately influence decision making and practice.
