Session Abstract:

EvalPartners, the global movement to strengthen national evaluation capacities, has developed a Global Evaluation Agenda for the fiveyears 2016-2020 (EvalAgenda2020). EvalPartners has asked AEA, and all other evaluation organizations around the world, to tailor some of our activities over the next few years to help achieve the desired outcomes put forth in the Agenda. This session explains what the AEA Board has decided to do, how our activities to support the Agenda will also support AEA’s own international strategy, and what you can do to become involved. AEA’s representative to IOCE and EvalPartners will overview the Agenda, AEA’s 2017 president will present the overall policy direction of AEA’s efforts, and AEA’s Executive Director will present the operational aspects of AEA’s efforts. There will be ample time for audience questions and discussion.
