Session Abstract: 

Professionalization has grown into a global movement to strengthen evaluators, the practice of evaluation, and the impact that evaluation has on the lives of people. AEA supports this movement within the US and internationally, standing alongside the European Evaluation Society (EES), EvalPartners, and the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE). Over the past several years, AEA has been developing program evaluator competencies, EES has piloted a Voluntary Evaluation Peer Review (VEPR) system, and EvalPartners and IOCE have facilitated the development of the Global Evaluation Agenda. This session shares the work of these leading organizations and invites active participation from conference attendees.
