Evaluators often deal with data captured by monitoring systems and grapple with how to utilize indicator data when doing an evaluation. This skill building session will focus on designing monitoring systems, drawing on project performance management plans (PMP) to bridge your monitoring system and your evaluation. Participants experience will enable them to utilize major components of a performance management plan (designing strong indicators, establishing procedures and methods that gather evaluatable data and designing evaluation plans). The first half of the session will focus on the skills necessary to identify, develop, and define strong Indicators while the second part of the session will focus on how to design effective evaluation questions that draws on the data from a PMP.
