Session Abstract: 

This think tank will explore the role evaluation leaders play in creating a diverse, inclusive and vibrant field of evaluation. It will open with a brief presentation about the concepts of diversity and inclusion, their relevance to cultural competency and equity, and the efforts of one evaluation practice (the Improve Group, based in Minnesota) to promote diversity and inclusion. Participants will be asked to consider several important questions about diversity and inclusion in the field of evaluation. Results will be summarized at the end of the session and shared broadly.
